Five sellers in this table, SatFares included, state a crypto refund in at least some cases. It is not always in the coin you paid with, and not for every payment. TravelSwap's pages disagree with each other (see below). As of October 12, 2026, per their own pages: - **SatFares:** USDT or USDC within 7 days when the airline cancels, or balance credit if you choose it. When you cancel, any refund is balance credit. - **Alternative Airlines:** USDT payments are refunded in USDT, minus any applicable fees. For other coins, a refund "may follow the payment provider's process". - **Laters:** refunds in CRO, BTC, ETH, USDC or TUSD, minus network fees. USDT is not a refund option, although Laters accepts USDT payments. - **Travorio:** "in the original crypto or Travorio credit". Its pages do not say who chooses. - **Travala:** only for Binance Pay payments (refunded in USDT) and Crypto.com Pay payments (same crypto). Direct crypto payments are refunded as Travel Credits. A refund in a volatile coin can be worth more or less than you paid. A stablecoin refund keeps the dollar amount. ## Which sites refund a crypto payment only as credit? Travala refunds direct crypto payments as Travel Credits, per its help centre. These credits can be used only on Travala. They can't be converted to cash or crypto, and they can't be transferred. Two payment routes are exceptions: Binance Pay payments come back in USDT, and Crypto.com Pay payments come back in the same crypto. TravelSwap's flight terms (clause 8.8, May 9, 2025) refund crypto payments only as Travelswap.xyz travel credits, except Binance Pay and Crypto.com Pay. Its refund policy, dated August 8, 2023, still says crypto refunds are made in USDC to the paying wallet. Ask TravelSwap which rule applies before you pay. Cryptorefills refunds an airline cancellation in fiat money, not in crypto. BitPay Travel's terms name a refund to the credit card used or a credit for future bookings, and do not mention crypto. Bitrefill sells gift cards: once you hold a card, the brand's own rules apply. SatFares also uses credit, but only in two cases: when you cancel yourself, or when you choose credit after an airline cancellation. Check five points on the seller's own pages before you send any coin: 1. **The form of the refund** for a crypto payment: the same coin, a stablecoin, fiat money or site credit. 2. **Who chooses** between money and credit when the airline cancels. 3. **Refund fees:** void fees, processing fees per person, network fees. 4. **The delay**, and when it starts: your request, or the date the seller receives the funds. 5. **Whether credit can be withdrawn** later, and on which network. As of October 12, 2026, Travala's help centre says crypto payments are refunded as Travel Credits. They can be used only on Travala and can't be converted to cash or crypto. Payments made with Binance Pay are refunded in USDT, and Crypto.com Pay payments in the same crypto. ### Can Laters refund me in USDT? No. As of October 12, 2026, its USDT payment page says refunds are made in CRO, BTC, ETH, USDC or TUSD, minus network fees. USDT is not one of the refund options, although Laters accepts USDT payments through Crypto.com Pay on Cronos, ERC-20 and Polygon. ### Does Travorio refund crypto payments in crypto? Sometimes. As of October 12, 2026, its crypto payment page says refunds come "in the original crypto or Travorio credit". It does not say who chooses between the two, or how long a refund takes. Check the terms of your booking with Travorio before you pay if the refund form matters to you. ### Is a travel credit the same as a refund? No. A credit can usually be spent only with the seller that issued it. A refund returns money you can use anywhere. For the other sellers in the table, we found no published delay. ### Does Cryptorefills refund flights in crypto? Not after an airline cancellation.
