Who flies Seoul to Tokyo, and why pay in crypto?

Mostly Korean travellers, on the route with the most international seats in the world. OAG ranked Incheon–Narita first among international routes in October 2026. It counted 584,664 scheduled seats in both directions, 39% more than a year earlier. South Korea was also Japan's largest source of visitors in 2025: 9,459,600 of 42,683,600 arrivals, according to JNTO figures.

Both countries hold a lot of crypto. Japan ranks 4th and South Korea 5th in the 2026 Chainalysis Global Crypto Adoption Index. A Korean card also costs extra on a foreign purchase. KB Kookmin Card lists a 0.25% overseas service fee, on top of a card brand fee of about 1%. A SatFares fare is in US dollars and comes out of a crypto balance. Which airlines fly Incheon to Narita?

Airlines observed in our latest market fare survey include Eastar Jet, Air Busan, Air Seoul, Peach Aviation, Trinity Airways, ZIPAIR Tokyo, Jin Air, Jeju Air, Air Premia, Ethiopian Airlines, Asiana Airlines, Korean Air. On October 12, 2026, for a departure on November 11, we counted 36 non-stop flights on 12 airlines. Korean low-cost airlines had the most departures: Jeju Air alone had seven. Eastar Jet, Air Seoul, Air Busan and Jin Air also flew the route, as did ZIPAIR Tokyo and Air Premia.

Korean Air had five departures, from KE 703 in the morning to KE 705 in the evening. Asiana had three, including OZ 102 on an Airbus A380. Ethiopian Airlines also carries passengers between the two cities, on flight ET 672 with an Airbus A350. Its own payment options are on the Ethiopian Airlines page.

How long is the flight from Seoul to Tokyo Narita?

About two and a half hours. The non-stop flights we observed took between 2 h 15 min and 2 h 55 min for 1,257 km. Departures from Incheon ran from 07:15 to 19:45, local time.

There is no time change on arrival. A flight that leaves Incheon at 10:00 and takes 2 h 30 min lands at 12:30 Tokyo time. Tokyo has a second airport, Haneda (HND). This page covers Narita, but the search accepts both codes.

How much baggage is included on Seoul to Tokyo flights?

It depends on the airline and the fare type. Asiana publishes one checked bag of up to 23 kg for Economy on routes outside the Americas. The length, width and height of each bag must add up to 158 cm or less. We read that rule on October 12, 2026.

Do Korean citizens need a visa for Japan?

Not for a short tourist trip. Under the visa agreement between the two countries, Korean citizens can stay in Japan for up to 3 months without a visa. Korea's foreign ministry states this in its Japan travel safety guide, updated on August 13, 2024. A stay for study or work needs a visa from a Japanese embassy before departure.

What are my rights if the airline cancels my Tokyo flight?

The airline's conditions of carriage set them, because the main passenger laws do not reach this route. EU Regulation 261/2004 covers flights from the EU, and flights into the EU on an EU airline. The US DOT refund rule covers flights to, from or within the United States. Incheon to Narita is neither.
