Which airports serve Dubai?

Two airports in our data: Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum International (DWC), at Jebel Ali. Search with DXB first, then check the arrival airport shown in each result.

Dubai International is the base of two airlines in our data, Emirates and flydubai. Emirates accepts crypto payments directly only from eligible UAE residents, according to InsideFlyer (July 29, 2026). Payment goes through Crypto.com Pay, and the booking is settled in UAE dirhams. Travellers from other countries can book Emirates flights with SatFares and pay in crypto. Bookings are made on request: our team books the ticket with Emirates and confirms the final total.

Which routes on our list fly to Dubai?

Five have their own page on SatFares:

Our list of 103 routes also includes Addis Ababa–Dubai (116,411 seats), Kochi–Dubai, Manila–Dubai and Istanbul–Dubai. From Dubai, it covers Riyadh (310,032 seats), Jeddah (231,522) and Johannesburg (97,654). Dubai–London is paused at launch.

Why do crypto travellers fly to Dubai?

Because Dubai tops their list. It was the first destination of crypto travellers in 2024, ahead of Bangkok, London, Tokyo and Paris, according to Travala and Binance Pay.

It is also one of the most visited cities in the world. Euromonitor counted 19.5 million international arrivals in Dubai in 2025, the 6th highest of any city. In our data, the busiest routes connect Dubai with Saudi Arabia and India.

Can I pay in crypto in Dubai after I land?

Rarely, and the rules are strict. Since June 14, 2025, the UAE central bank's Payment Token Services Regulation bars payments in crypto. Only licensed dirham payment tokens and registered foreign payment tokens are allowed (checked October 12, 2026). BTC Map lists only 10 places that accept bitcoin within 25 km of the centre, 5 of them verified since 2025.

The city crypto travellers visit most is not a city where you can easily pay in crypto. We sell the ticket; paying on the spot is another matter. Plan to pay locally in UAE dirhams (AED).

What do I need to enter the United Arab Emirates?

A valid passport, and any visa or entry permission your nationality requires. UAE authorities set those rules; check them on official UAE government channels before you book. We do not give visa advice.

For the ticket, the airline needs each traveller's names as in the passport, date of birth, gender and passport details. We pass them only to the airline, to issue the ticket. No ID upload, no selfie at checkout. Airline ID rules still apply.

Frequently asked questions

Can I fly to Dubai right now?

Yes, airlines sell flights to Dubai, but official advice still warns of risk. On October 12, 2026, our fare survey found non-stop fares from Delhi on Emirates, flydubai, Air India and SpiceJet. The US rates the UAE Level 3, "Reconsider travel" (August 29, 2026). Check your government's advice and your flight status before you leave. We do not give safety advice.

Can I pay Emirates directly in crypto?

Only if you are an eligible resident of the United Arab Emirates, according to InsideFlyer on July 29, 2026. Those payments go through Crypto.com Pay, in UAE dirhams. Other travellers can pay SatFares in crypto, and the airline issues the ticket in the traveller's name. See Emirates and crypto.

Should I fly into DXB or DWC?

Search both and compare. Dubai International (DXB) is the main airport and the base of Emirates and flydubai in our data. Al Maktoum International (DWC) is at Jebel Ali. Each search result shows the arrival airport. The fare shown covers all passengers, taxes included, whatever the airport.

Can I book London to Dubai with SatFares?

Not yet. Flights to and from the following countries are paused at launch: the United Kingdom. Selling flight-only tickets there needs ATOL arrangements that we have not put in place. Other routes to Dubai are available. Dubai can be booked from Lagos, Delhi, Mumbai, Frankfurt and Paris, among other cities.

What time zone is Dubai in?

Dubai uses Gulf Standard Time, UTC+4, all year. It does not change its clocks in summer. Check the local arrival date and time shown in your booking before you plan the first day. Dubai is 3 hours ahead of Lagos and 90 minutes behind Delhi and Mumbai.

What if the airline cancels my flight to Dubai?

You get a refund in USDT or USDC within 7 days, or a balance credit, as you choose. If the e-ticket was never issued, nothing was charged: the held amount goes back to your balance at once. If you cancel yourself, the fare rules of your ticket decide what comes back.

Which coins can I use for a Dubai flight?

Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC). USDT works on Tron (TRC-20) or Ethereum (ERC-20); USDC on Ethereum (ERC-20) only. The minimum top-up is $25. We do not accept Monero or Bitcoin Lightning. Stablecoins keep a dollar value, like our fares.
